Aquaponics

Combine fish farming with plant cultivation

Aquaponics

Aquaponics combines fish farming with soilless plant growing in a closed-loop system. Fish waste is converted by bacteria into nitrates that fertilize plants; the plants filter the water, which cycles back to the fish. It is a fully sustainable, organic, soil-free method of producing both vegetables and protein.
